Qualifications Required
- Member of a recognized body of:
- Professional Accountants
- Corporate or Chartered Secretaries
OR
- Master’s degree in:
- Business Administration
- Finance
- Commerce
- Law
- Or any equivalent from an HEC-recognized university
Applicants must meet the criteria of the State-Owned Enterprises (Governance and Operations) Act, 2023.
Experience Criteria
- Minimum 10 years of post-qualification relevant experience
- At least 5 years of experience specifically as Company Secretary
- Experience must include:
- Corporate governance
- Regulatory compliance
- Company secretarial practices
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure compliance with Companies Act, 2017 and SOE governance frameworks
- Manage Board of Directors and Committee meetings
- Maintain statutory records and legal filings
- Provide legal and corporate governance support
- Communicate with Board, stakeholders, and legal authorities
- Draft legal and corporate documents
- Advise on laws affecting PMDC’s operations
